Hello, my name is Sarah Yntema and I would like to introduce myself and my business to you.
I have been working with leather for over a decade now as a pleasurable hobby and a custom business.
I live in the beautiful Okanagan and noticed a big need for leather work that is both Canadian made and
truly custom made. To me custom made means you choose the materials your garment is made out of
and the style that you like yourself. Then I produce the desired combination of leather and style to fit
and suit you.
I bring in only the best quality leathers that are available for you to choose from and solid brass
and silver hardware. I do appliqué, quilting, stud work and mount precious/semiprecious stones when
requested for a truly unique one of a kind product.
By working out of my home I am able to both keep cost down and am flexible to work one on one with
you, to meet you on your terms and offer ideas to you for optimal fit and ultimate results. I can also work
with you through my website if that is more suitable for you. You have the option of sending me your
measurements, along with an old piece of clothing that fits you perfectly. I have found that this is a sound
way to take the guess work out of a persons shape for fitting and guarantees a desired fit. If you have an
old garment that you want me to use as a pattern for a leather garment I am more than happy to do that too.
I can listen to your description and do some sketches for you or you can send me some pictures of a certain
style you like. The web truly gives us the freedom to send ideas and pictures back and forth instantly.
I also cover jeans, sweaters and jackets with leather on elbows/ knees or other alterations that you may
have need for. I am very flexible and aiming to please you, the customer.
The pictures on my site are projects that I have done for clients already. My workmanship is guaranteed for
one year from date of purchase. I encourage people to bring their custom items back to me for any kind of
repairs/ alterations needed in years to come, as it is always a pleasure for me to see my work well used
and enjoyed by you.
So thank you for stopping by at my site for a look and a read.
I look forward to working with you in the future.
Please do not hesitate to phone or e-mail me with questions at any time.
Thank You,
Sarah Yntema
